Chef J Bistro is a Cape Coral fine dining restaurant, offering delicious food, connoisseur wines, and a romantic atmosphere.
UPDATE January 2016: The bistro has changed owners and is now Blaze Bistro.
I love dishes that are artfully prepared with interesting combinations of ingredients ........... and that's what you'll find from Chef Jethro Joseph with his award-winning cuisine.
Add to that the perfect wine, and your meal becomes a work of art for your eyes and your palate!
This local neighborhood restaurant has a small, yet cozy and intimate dining room with low lighting, and art on the walls. Chef J has 2 menus, one with a few more and different selections for season, and one for summer.
From appetizers to soups, salads, pasta, seafood, meat entrees, and desserts you'll find classic American, French, Italian, and dishes with a Caribbean flair. I could not resist the Crab Encrusted Salmon ...... it was amazing!
The salmon was cooked to perfection, topped with crispy crab, in a tasty and buttery sauce with capers. Served with my entree was jasmine rice, nicely seasoned with herbs, and broccoli spears.
We had no room for dessert: Tiramisu, New York-style Cheesecake with Raspberry Drizzle, Creme Brulee, Key Lime Pie, and Triple Layer Chocolate Cake .......... so we'll have to back!
I also want to try the seafood platters off the season menu and the Lobster Lovers Pasta off the summer menu.
Service was helpful and attentive. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, Monday-Thursday 11AM-10PM, Friday-Saturday 11AM-11PM, and Sunday 11AM-9PM.
Need a place for family parties, engagement dinners, business meetings, or get-togethers with friends ............ call Chef J for complete meals or just plates of appetizers, all paired with complementary wines.
