The Murder Mystery Dinner Train in Ft Myers is such a blast - good food, an entertaining murder mystery, and an enjoyable train ride!
Ride the Seminole Gulf Railway on a train with cars from the 1930's and 50's in the nostalgic style of many years ago, and dine on a 5-course meal while a mystery is acted out between courses.
Shortly after being seated, we started with appetizers, a plate loaded with tasty cheese, crackers, and fruit.
Shows are performed year round from Wednesday - Sunday and the train ride lasts 3 1/2 hours, except for New Years, which is longer. The train is air-conditioned, and leaves promptly at 6:30 and 5:30 on Sundays from Colonial Station.

When everyone was finally aboard, the train got going and the first act started. As the actors performed in the aisle, we wrote down clues on our clue cards.

At the end of the play, we got to guess whodunit and why, winners receive a prize!

Four cars ....... the Sanibel, Marco, Gasparilla, and Captiva seat 200 diners with the kitchen in the Marco.
The way it works is: actors perform each act in one car then perform again in the next car and so on as the train merrily makes its way up the railway and then back down.
