Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre - Delicious shows and delicious food are served up at this Ft Myers dinner theater.
Have you been to a dinner theater yet? If not, it's a lot of fun! If you get there early, you can enjoy a drink at the bar and lounge in the lobby before the show.
Or poke around the gift shop .......... I was reading in a book there that the Broadway Palm is haunted!
Once they let you into the theater and after finding your table, the friendly waitstaff serves beverages and helps you with anything you might need.
Then you can head over to where a lovely buffet dinner is served before the show.
First you get salad from their salad bar, then a choice of several entrees and sides, and selections from a carving station for dinner.
A dessert station is set up on the other side of the theater, and let me tell you, I had a hard time deciding what to get!
Towards the end of dessert, the lights go out and the show starts, which you watch from your table.
We were lucky to have our seats near the front and thoroughly enjoyed seeing "A White Christmas".
At the Broadway Palm, seats and tables are on a series of tiers that step up from the stage, so people in the back rows can also get a good view.
The dinner theater shows Broadway plays and concerts and they also have a smaller theater that shows off-Broadway plays.
Although children are welcome, the theater prefers children 5 and under to go to their children's theater so regular shows aren't disrupted.
Ft Myers shows are Tuesday-Sunday evenings, and matinees are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Contact them about gift certificates and discounts for groups of 20 or more.
The Broadway Palm also caters special events such as banquets, business meetings, training sessions, and private parties.
They have the main theater as well as smaller rooms for more intimate occasions. Audio and video equipment are available.
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is part of the Prather Entertainment Group, which owns theaters in Lancaster, PA; and Mesa, Arizona ........ and a touring company.
From Cape Coral, the theater is just over the Midpoint Bridge in the shopping plaza on the right as you come down the off-ramp.
