Here's the Cape Coral Marina information you need with lots of photos, so you can go boating in our waterfront paradise!
We have 5 marinas ......... 2 of them, Tarpon Point and Cape Harbour, are in the SW part of Cape Coral.
The other 3 marinas, Yacht Club Basin, Everest Marina and The Cape Coral Boat Club, are in the SE.
Each one is different, but all of them will get you to the Caloosahatchee River.
From there, it's not too far to Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island, Ft Myers Beach and the Gulf of Mexico where we have amazing fishing and beautiful beaches.
Cape Coral also has over 400 miles of canals, more than Venice in Italy, where you can boat and fish to your heart's content ....... maybe even in your own back yard!
Some of the marinas are full-service, with boat rentals, storage, repair service, sales and more ........... others offer the basics.
Tarpon Point Marina is the closest and easiest of the Cape Coral marinas to get to from points south on the Caloosahatchee River.
It's in a cove at Marker #92 on the river and part of the yachting community of Tarpon Point which includes high rises with spectacular views, gorgeous condos, single family estates, and the luxury resort of Marina Village.
The marina fits boats up to 75' in length in their deep-water harbor with 175 wet-slips.
You can get supplies at their ship's store, use their pump-out station, gas up, rent boats and kayaks, charter a fishing tour, take a sunset or dolphin cruise, or catch a boat taxi to Ft Myers Beach.
Then head over to the resort for fine dining, shopping, special events, a massage at the spa, or a luxury suite at the hotel.
Just a little further in from Tarpon Point, and down a canal is Cape Harbour Marina.
It also is part of a luxury yachting community, which includes high rises, condos, and single-family homes along with restaurants, shops, spa, and boat rentals, fishing charters, sales, and local cruises.
From Cape Harbour you can go through a set of locks called a boat lift and enter into the South Spreader Canal, the system of smaller canals and lovely waterfront homes it leads to.
Cape Coral Yacht Club Basin, also called Godman, or Cape Coral Basin is located at Cape Coral Community Park at the end of Coronado Pkwy next to Yacht Club Beach.
The marina has 89 wet boat slips for annual, daily, or monthly rental and fuel, pump out station, bait, bathrooms, and showers.
Yacht Club Basin is at Marker #78 on the Caloosahatchee.
By car, Everest Marina is located on Everest Pkwy, the road that leads to Horton Park Boat Ramp at the Midpoint Bridge at Marker #60.
By boat, they are located adjacent to Stokes Canal which has direct access to the Caloosahatchee, just south of Horton Park.
They offer sales of used boats and motors, dry storage, repairs, bait and tackle .......... and new for 2014, have added more dry slips, refurbished their yard, and expanded their services to customers.
Walkers Marina has everything you need for your boat, including plenty of indoor slip dry storage, complete mechanical services, repairs, and detailing plus the premier Cape Coral boat rental club, and sales of new and used boats.
They are conveniently located on Del Prado Blvd just north of Cape Coral Pkwy on a canal just north form the Midpoint Bridge, with access to the Caloosahatchee.
New to 2012, is their hurricane dry slip rental program for worry-free boat storage.
If you've been looking at Florida marinas, I think you'll find that we have some terrific ones here in the Cape!
