Cape Coral Parkway is in the heart of downtown South Cape, with restaurants, hotels, shopping, and fun festivals!
The tree-lined boulevard is one of our city's main thoroughfares, starting at the Cape Coral Bridge.
It heads west, going through commercial and then residential zones.
Some of our favorite restaurants and shops are on the parkway, and also on the 2 streets that run parallel to the north and south, SE 47th Terrace and Lafayette Street. Go to Fords Garage, right off the bridge for burgers and fries, Iguana Mia, or Monarca a block or 2 up on Del Prado, for Mexican food.
Try Papa Joes, Nice Guys, and Sals for Italian favorites and pizza, Rib City for BBQ and their famous cheese fries, delicious food and drink at Nevermind Bar ........ or grab an iced chai latte at Perk and Brew.
As for the restaurants on SE 47th Terrace ........ go to Fish Tale Grill, Chicago Pizza, Ciao Pizza, and Cork Soakers. Kick up your heels to country music at Dixie Roadhouse!
On Lafayette Street, is the incomparable fine dining on the terrace at La Corte, or the Cajun specialties at Slates on Candia Street.
There are several trolley events, such as Best Martini Competition, put on by the South Cape Community Redevelopment Agency throughout the year, where you can catch a ride on trolleys to try out out food and drinks at participating restaurants and bars.
Take a stroll with your family, friends, or out-of-town visitors and get to know the downtown area ........... especially when the various festivals shut down the street ........... The Cape Coral Festival of the Arts, Red, White, and Boom ......... and the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
There are also the popular Cape Coral Bike Nights nearby on SE 47th Terrace.
Go to Su Casa for furniture and home decor a short ways up on Coronado. Then there's Razzle Dazzle for Florida-style clothing and resort wear.
Head over to Karma and Coconuts, behind Iguana Mia, for unique gifts, art, and crafts all handmade by local SWFL artisans ........ including soap, scrubs, and body butters made by me. Check out my Salt and Sea Soaps display once you get there!
Find out more about these stores on my Cape Coral Shops page.
As for accommodations, the Holiday Inn is on Cape Coral Parkway and Del Prado, and the Hampton Inn and Suites are are on SE 47th Terrace.
The Hideaway Resort isn't too far and let's not forget Four Freedoms Park and Ice Sssscreamin ice cream.
Further down, on or just off the parkway is Westin Resort at Marina Village, Duffy's Sports Bar, Overtime Sports Bar, Ceno Grille, and Lobster Lady.
So, come on over to one of the main Cape Coral shopping areas and enjoy these shops and restaurants!
