With its bright pastels, tropical look, and live music under the tiki hut, you'll love this casual beach-themed bistro, which reminds me of the Old-Florida style that I really like.
Sit outside on the front patio to see the action on the street or so you can sit up close to hear the music. Or, sit inside at tables and booths, or at the bar.
Wherever you sit, the decor is fun and will cheer you up ........... and so will the food! Located in the heart of Captiva Island on Andy Rosse Lane, Key Lime is the perfect spot to go out to eat if you're vacationing with your children or have a large group.
If you're staying at Captiva Island Inn, a complimentary breakfast is included with your accommodations.
And, it is delicious ......... we sampled the Bistro Crunch French Toast, Belgian Waffle, and Egg Croissantwich. Everything was so good!
For lunch, you can get salads, soups, and sandwiches. For dinner, choose appetizers, pasta, meat entrees, and a large choice of seafood dishes.
Grouper, snapper, mahi, tuna, shrimp, and salmon are prepared several ways along with a paella. For those who aren't in the mood for seafood, you can choose beef and chicken dishes.
Now about dessert ........... doesn't this Key Lime Pie look amazing?!
They have the best mango smoothies, plus specialty and frozen drinks, wines, and cocktails.
Breakfast is served from 8AM-2PM, lunch from 11AM-5PM, and dinner from 5PM-10PM. They also serve a Sunday Jazz Brunch from 11AM-3PM.
Prices are pretty reasonable, you'll pay around $14-28 for a dinner entree. They accept reservations for parties of 5 or more.
