RC Otters is a fun Captiva restaurant with a beachy theme, good food, live music, and fun for the whole family!
This is a great spot to take the kids, or a big group of family or friends.
You'll appreciate the casual atmosphere, popular American and island dishes, menu with kid's favorites, and reasonable prices .......... a dinner entree costs approximately $9-23.
The restaurant is on Andy Rosse Lane, smack dab in the middle of all the fun going on in town. They're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner .......... and you get a complementary breakfast at Otter's if you're staying next door at Captiva Island Inn.
We were fortunate to stay at the Inn, and I had Otter's Blueberry Granola Pancakes. They were the best, and came with hash browns, fruit, and a cute little multi-colored muffin!
Otters has the Ring Toss Game ....... while you or your kids wait for your food, you can try to toss a ring at the end of a string onto a hook on a post.
It's kind of hard, but if you jerk it to the side a little as you drop the string and it will swing onto the hook from the side. I actually got it after about 10 tries!
For lunch and dinner, choose from appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, seafood and chicken baskets, clams and oysters on the half shell, burgers, pasta, quesadillas, platters, seafood entrees, ribs, and meatloaf ....... and delectable desserts.
At night, RC Otters looks so festive and colorful, lights are strung up around the restaurant, and live music beckons you to come on in and have a seat.
You have several choices, you can sit at tables outside in front of the restaurant.
Or, sit under cover on the deck, or inside the restaurant, either at the bar or at tables, if you prefer.
We've eaten there several times. I've had the Grouper Oscar, served with rice and veggies, and it was pretty good!
The Chicken Fingers, Chicken Teriyaki Quesadillas, and burgers are all very delicious.
Kids can draw on the paper table cloth with crayons provided at each table. I drew a mermaid flying a kite at the beach!
They are open from 8AM-10PM everyday, and take-out is available. For more info, go to:
